Who we are

What personal data we collect

• Account details: your name, email address, church or organisation name, and role.
• Content you submit: the sermon or Bible-study text you paste, and the slide outlines, discussion guides and video scripts we generate from it.
• Usage data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and error reports. This helps us keep the service secure and improve it.
• Cookies: essential cookies that keep you signed in, and analytics cookies that help us understand how the site is used. You can manage analytics cookies in your browser settings.
• Support correspondence: messages you send us if you contact support.

How we use your data

• To create and manage your account.
• To provide the sermon-resource generation service.
• To keep the service secure and prevent fraud or abuse.
• To respond to support requests.
• To understand usage and improve the product.

Legal basis for processing

We process your data on the basis of performance of a contract (providing the service), our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention and product improvement), and, where required, your consent (for non-essential analytics cookies). You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.

Who we share data with

• Writing assistance provider: the text you submit is sent to our third-party writing provider solely to generate your resources. It is not used to train models.
• Merchant of Record: our online reseller, Paddle, processes payments, subscription management, tax, invoicing and related customer-service inquiries. You can read Paddle’s privacy notice at paddle.com/legal/privacy.
• Hosting and analytics providers: companies that run the infrastructure and analytics tools we use to operate and improve the site.
• Professional advisers and authorities: where necessary for legal, accounting or compliance purposes, or when required by law.

Data retention

We keep your account information and submitted content for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data and generated content are removed from our active systems immediately. Backups may retain encrypted copies for up to 30 days before being permanently deleted.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and to receive a copy of it in a portable format. You can update most details from your profile page, and delete your account there at any time. To exercise other rights, contact us at support@exegepro.org.

Security

We use encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and other technical and organisational measures to protect your data. We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising.

Cookies

Essential cookies are required for sign-in and account security. Analytics cookies help us understand how the site is used. You can disable analytics cookies through your browser settings, though some site features require essential cookies to work.

We may update this policy as the service changes. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page shows the current version.
